About me
As a student at the UW of Washington I have held postions of leadership in various different areas. Most notably, I founded the UW chapter of the Stop Slavery Now chapter. (See the article about it in The Daily).
As the UW can be an overwhelming place, I feel it is my duty to bring the students and groups toether to make changes with quality events, dances, and fundraisers. There are more opportunities and possible advancements for our student government than ever before, and that is why I am here. Check out my facebook profile. |

FIG/TRIG reunion Parent's day The person serving in this position is the advocate for students to the professors and administrators on campus. In many cases the faculty/administrators want the same things as us students, such as a better course evaluation system or more experiential learning. In these cases it is a team effort. But there are also issues like the balance between research and teaching. Cases like this require understanding and diplomacy from all parties. |
